EDI Documentation: Installation & Setup
We recommend installing the service and dashboard on the primary server that you will utilize.
Follow the below steps for the initial setup of the program.
1. Open the EDI Dashboard that SaberLogic installed on your server. They will notify you as to where they put it. We will put an icon on the desktop of the server for easy navigation.
2. You will receive this message:
This message will always appear on first-time installs. Click ok, and this will bring up the SQL Setup screen. Enter your SQL Settings for both the Dashboard and Service and verify it was able to connect:
3. The program will ask you to restart. Select 'Yes':
4. The program will automatically restart, and you will direct you to a Startup Screen: Follow the directions on the startup screen:
4a. SQL settings, again. Make sure they are correct.
4b. Update SQL, this will input all of the SQL scripts to your DB that you put into the SQL settings for this software.
4c. Insert Global settings to ensure that the right ERP and application settings exist for this software to work correctly.
5. Once you have completed all of the steps above, click Finish to start of the program.
